A couple of months ago, a good friend of mine asked me to try his new business --- a new website developed by his team who are mostly young and energetic newly grads. He said, it will change the way I do my daily errands and will save me from spending too many hours lining up in over-crowded stores. DailyErrands.ph is basically a solution to people like me who either lack time to do their own shopping or need to multi-task and do personal stuff while working in front of a computer.

Entrusting My Daily Errands with DailyErrands.ph
I love to cook! Like writing poems, the urge to cook something would suddenly hit me anytime. The only thing that hinders me to come up with a sumptuous dish sometimes, is the lack of ingredients. Supplies are not always available at home and I have to step out, and buy the ingredients I need. Most of the time, I don't have the energy, (and the patience) to go out or the craving would hit me at the most unholy hour that stepping out might not be a good idea. So the cooking urge would end up to frustration and hunger hahaha.

September is Soup Month
![]() |
| Reyes Barbecue Mini Sotanghon |
I'm half Visaya and half Kapampangan. I feel more Bisaya as I love to sing and eat soup. A meal is not complete without a serving of my favorite soup. May it be a main course or just a cup noodle, I see to it that I do not eat dry.
I mentioned this because this month. is soup and barbecue month - a combination that will trully warm and energies your dull and sleepy rainy day and basically what I want in a meal.
Reyes Barbecue thought of this brilliant idea aiming to energize their customers with a special Soup and Barbecue Meal combo promo. All Mondays (all day) of September all Reyes Barbecue customers get a Free Mini Sotanghon Soup or a Free Mini Molo Soup for every barbecue meal purchase.

Golf Your Way to Father's Day at Marriott Manila
I miss my dad! Though I don't look like him, I have his eyes and his passion in cooking since he's Kapampangan. Lately, I've been looking for a perfect gift for him this Father's Day.
And if you, dear poets, are also looking for something different and unique this Father's Day, I will be featuring different options and brilliant ideas on how to celebrate the day of our Pops!
First on my list is Marriott Manila's treat for our dads.
Marriott Manila is sharing their own fun way to uniquely indulge every great leader of the family and what perfect way to celebrate his life and love is through his most favorite sports -- golf.
Since it’s another event that deserves a grand blow out, food is always the first thing to consider especially for the man who takes time to enjoy family, hobby, and a good meal of course. If thinking where to eat on his special day, it would be great to consider a venue where dad can enjoy a hole-in-one treat from dining, accommodation, plus his love for golf!

5 Day Food Styling Class at CCA Podium
I think food, to be recognized as delicious and to die for needs to have 3 characteristics a. Taste b. Nutrients c. Style. Meeting these three requirements will surely ignite your senses - taste, touch and sight making the food you personally prepared, a sure hit. Our country perhaps is best known for its abundant recipe of foods with delectable taste, superb nutrients and creative styling and preparation. Among the three, the way food is served and presented in a way was the least of anyone's priority. The thought process involved in presenting a dish is no joke as this sets the first impression one has on a certain dish.
Food styling is not just the act of putting together a dish rather an art that requires skill and knowledge. It is through this that a simple dish becomes a work of art.
Food styling has now become very popular in the Philippines. CCA Podium recognizes this in developing a short course on food styling and food photography.

Atten-huuuut! Young Chefs’ Bootcamp at CCA Podium
I love kids. In college, I thought and took a course that will make me work with or for kids. Although, to be honest and now that I am working, I seemed to deviate from that vision. I still love to do stuff for and with kids.
This summer, sharing the same passion I have for kids, the Center for Culinary Arts - Podium - again poets take note, the only market cafe, culinary school and events place in the country today, has successfully organized the Young Chef Boot Camp (YCBC).
CCA Podium's YCBC aims to teach kids and develop their culinary skills with the right method, approach and discipline.

WOW! Oishi has a new endorser
I grew up loving Oishi. In fact, we're almost the same age. Hah! and ummm Oishi has been more like a childhood friend. And just like what I feel to friends or former classmates whenever i bumped into them and know what they have become and accomplished makes me proud and happy. Being part of their lives at some point makes me feel a part of that success too.
For more than 30 years, Oishi has been bringing fun snacks to Pinoys of all ages. Note, all ages. The success of this brand lies on its capacity to connect with audiences of different generation. A brand that everyone can associate with and never cease to remind its existence through strategies like catchy campaigns and of course promising celebrity endorsers that has the ability, just like Oishi to connect with all sorts of audiences, young and old.
