Philippine Social Media Day celebration

I may be posting this 3 days late but up to now, I still have hangover from last Saturday's Social Media Day celebration held at the Tower 1 grounds in Ayala Triangle in Makati.

Attended by nearly 500 participants, the June 30 celebration is part of the worldwide annual celebration launched by mashable.com in 2010.  This year, the Philippine participation was organized in key cities like Makati, Quezon City, Cebu, Davao and Cagayan de Oro using its own hashtag #SocialMediaCapital, an apt description of the very aggressive and positive adaptation and use of social media in the country.
