Learn Urbane Cooking at CCA Podium

Chef Davide Lombardi of CCA demonstrates how to make your own pasta.
I love to cook! They say the best cooks are MEN. I agree! I learned how to cook by just looking at my mom when I was young. Mom used to have her food business. She would cook lunch for doctors and office staff at the Surgery Department of Philippine General Hospital. That was in the 80s. (You now have an idea how YOUNG I am hehe.) Filipino cooking is as simple as gisa and mixing all the ingredients together. Now, any one, no matter how long he / she has been cooking would always want to make their cooking skills more URBANE as they say.
Every budding chefs, moms and food lovers who love to cook, at one point aspire to define their cooking skills as classy and sophisticated. So the Center for Culinary Arts - Podium - through its Continuing Education Program came up with a brilliant idea.

“This summer, the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA) Podium introduces Urbane Class Series – an experiential cooking ,class that aims to achieve just that and to give one’s cooking style a notch higher,” says Chef Trisha Ocampo, CCA Podium’s program manager.
Urbane Class which will highlight international recipes with “Italian Flair” - demonstration of mouth-watering, authentic blockbuster Italian dishes such as Risotto Al Porcini, Scaloppine di Pollo alla Romana, Spigola alla Pugliese, Panzerotti alla Brucio, Taglierni a la Brucio, and Panna cotta del “Pimiento”,

A 3-hour cooking demonstration with food tasting, the Urbane Class Series is one of the special classes being offered at the posh CCA Podium - considered as the country’s first culinary school, market café and events place in one chic location

“The Urbane Cooking Class series aim to develop and learn new cooking styles. It’s under CCA’s continuing education program and it promises to give enrollees that flare and sophistication they need,” said Marinela Trinidad,CCA-Podium founder.

The Urbane Cooking Class series is a limited seat class. Registration is on the first come, first served basis. All courses are conducted at the CCA Culinary School and Market Café, at the 5th floor of the Podium along ADB Avenue in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
